Weekly Recap: Top 24 perform and 4 get eliminated
The performances this week ranged among the mediocre although the talent is immense. Several performers stood out however, proving that Idol can still bring us amazing performers. The one on the girls side that performed the best was Crystal Bowersox who sang Hand In My Pocket from Alanis Morrisette. And from the guys it was Lee Dewyze who sang Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars. Besides them there were several who caught our ears. Todrick Hall did great rendition of Since You've Been Gone. Didi Benami was quite good in her performance of The Way I Am. Tyler Grady was also amazing in his 70's way during his performance of American Woman. Besides them the performances were dull and lackluster. However the results show proved to be far more uninteresting.
Allison Iraheta performed Scars and Kris Allen performed an outstanding Let It Be for Haiti relief. While Ryan Seacrest told America that Idol Gives Back will indeed return this year the voters were busy voting off Tyler Grady, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Nunoz, and Janell Wheeler. Although they certainly were not the best performers they did fair much better than most of the others. I'm hoping that next week's performances improve and treat us to two nights of incredible talent and more reasonable send homes. But then again we won't ever know what to expect until the votes are counted.

Weekly Recap: Top 24 REVEALED
This season we have dealt with not only a change on the judges panel but also in the show itself. Some are disappointing changes but others proved to be fairly well. One thing that hasn't changed is the talent, the contestants that have managed to captivate America with their charm and powerful abilities.
This past week we were given the names of the Top 24 and the results were at times stunning but over all were pleasant. It's no doubt that this season will be fixed with all the same amazing performances and charisma that helps make these Idols a star.

Weekly Review: Hollywood Week
There were a few surprises during Hollywood Week. Standouts and ones that have a curious way of showing they belong in the top 24 but all in all this years Idol has displayed a group of talented singers, whether they are memorable or not.
Most of IdolWood's previous picks were eliminated (including our front runner Justin Williams) but there were some that stayed, and a couple who will get our votes!
Andrew Garcia and Jeff Goldford caught our interests while Casey James and Todrick Hall remained in the pack. We'll be looking forward to seeing our favorites during next week's portion of Hollywood!

Weekly Review: Denver/ best of the rest auditions
This season's audition rounds have come to a close and soon Hollywood week will take over. The hard work, frustration, harsh critiques, and many cuts will take place. However first there were a few more worthy contestants to watch who made up the 181 golden ticket receivers.
In Denver Victoria Beckham was again the guest judge and on the first day we saw one of the best outcomes. However only one did we pick. The Best of the Rest episode showed plenty of talent and truly did save the best for last.
In Denver Casey James made his mark on both the judges and we here at IdolWood. We look forward to seeing him in Hollywood.
His deep voice was only shown for a brief moment but it was enough to excite us.
This soulful singer came in with a heartbreaking and touching story as well as one of the best auditions.
