Album Review: Archuleta does Christmas

Christmas From The Heart

Anyone who experienced the 2008 season of American Idol knows exactly the fan base young David Archuleta gathered. That fan base was sure happy when he announced not only his debut album but also a CD anyone, any age could listen to throughout the glorious holidays!

Christmas From The Heart is a CD full of the greatest Christmas songs and Archuleta's voice displays the power of the lyrics. Although not widely publicized, this Christmas album is not in anyway cheesy but it allows Archuleta's vocal talent, and the gentle music to make it a success.

One of the best songs would be O Come All Ye Faithful, where Archuleta gently sings over strings that exude the effectiveness of the spiritual content of the song. Another highlight would be Riu Riu Chiu which is sung in a fluid verse of Spanish.

This album is perfect to play for the Christmas season and also all year round. I love Christmas so much and with the release of David Archuleta's CD it brings more anticipation for it to arrive.
